INVITATION – Dutch Royal Couple inauguration of NewCold, McDonough, Georgia

We invite you to cover the official opening of NewCold’s state-of-the-art, automated warehouse in McDonough, Georgia, on 10 June 2024.
We are proud to share that Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, accompanied by Queen Máxima, will officially inaugurate the warehouse during a working visit to the United States. Dutch dignitaries, ministers, the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as well as her Dutch counterpart, will attend.

 

NewCold’s decision to locate a $333 million facility in McDonough is a testament to the growing importance of Georgia as a logistics hub and the strength of bilateral trade ties between the Netherlands and the US – and the state of Georgia in particular.

 

The day will feature thought-provoking discussions and informative keynotes, with participation from industry leaders in the food sector, supply chain experts, local partners, and more. It is an exceptional opportunity to gain insight into the future of supply chain innovation.

 

Our McDonough facility is the latest addition to NewCold’s network, leveraging cutting-edge automation to provide 24/7 high-level service, adding greater resilience, sustainability, and efficiency to the food supply chain in the Southeast United States. The 85,000-pallet dry goods high-bay warehouse represents a significant milestone for NewCold in the US market.
