NewCold’s facility in Corby, UK, now proudly holds BRC Storage and Distribution certification. This achievement is made even more special in that it comes mere months after the cold storage warehouse’s opening at the end of 2022.

The certification is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Corby team and NewCold’s expertise in cold chain logistics. All NewCold sites globally are pursuing certification of a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standard such as BRC Storage and Distribution, says Harvey.

NewCold’s Corby facility is a fully automated 41-meter-high (134 ft) cold storage with 75,600 pallet positions and nine automated stacker cranes. It now joins its sister UK site, Wakefield, in achieving BRC Storage and Distribution certification.
