They reflected on the Olympics 2021-2022 season, welcomed the current and the new athletes who formed the new Team NewCold. They also unveiled the new sleds and suit for the upcoming winter season.

The host of the day, Ivo van Haaren, a previous professional bobsleigh athlete and a commentator at Eurosport channel presented the new team of athletes. In their interviews, they all shared great enthusiasm and excitement about the opportunities of the upcoming 2022-2023 season.

The total of 24 athletes are of different age and experience level. The new team consists of 13 bobsleigh, 10 skeleton and 1 luge athletes. Many of these athletes are still at a very young age and have great potential for the future.

A special mention for Australian athlete Jaclyn Narracott, who won the silver medal in skeleton at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing. She also trains a lot with Team NewCold athlete Kimberley Bos. Jaclyn is well known in her profession and NewCold is looking forward to sponsoring her.

During the short break the audience could experience for themselves what it is like to descend with a skeleton sled with the Virtual Reality Experience. This was a fun experience for all ages. The attendees had the opportunity to take pictures with the new sleds and suit.

NewCold, as main sponsor of the Dutch Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation, is looking forward to the future and performances of newly built Team NewCold!
