Royal grand opening makes global news

The recent McDonough warehouse grand opening has garnered global media attention. 

Our Founder and CEO Bram Hage welcomed Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima, who inaugurated the facility during their working visit to the United States. The event – and NewCold’s global growth story – received widespread coverage by media in both the United States and the Netherlands. 

De Telegraaf covered the visit of Their Majesties and spoke to our Executive Vice President Commercial and Chairman North America, Jonas Swarttouw, about the Dutch approach to entrepreneurship in the U.S.  

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution toured our new facility and highlighted the strategic decision to establish the warehouse in McDonough, Georgia, as part of the state’s booming logistics sector. 

Global Atlanta published an insightful look at the bilateral relations between Georgia and the Netherlands, emphasizing NewCold’s pivotal role in the global logistics landscape.
