Burley, ID
100,000 frozen
Our single-temperature automated frozen storage facility in Burley, ID opened in 2019. This facility has a maximum storage capacity of 90,000 pallet positions while supporting rail car and automated truck loading and unloading. Our Burley site is an exceptional example of a single customer site, perfectly optimized for client specific volumes while maintaining the flexibility of expansion of up to 100,000 pallet positions.
Tacoma, WA
100,000 frozen
Opened in 2018, we operate a single-temperature automated frozen storage facility in Tacoma, WA. Our facility has a maximum storage capacity of over 100,000 pallet positions
Currently, we support multiple customers who import and export products from the ports of Tacoma and Seattle. There are over 70 powered positions on site here at NewCold Tacoma to keep containers cool while they are loaded and away from the ports.
Lebanon, IN (Phase I)
100,000 frozen
First opened in 2022, the Lebanon site houses 100,000 frozen pallets (Phase I). It supports multiple customers centralized in an ideal Midwest location ~28 mi northwest of Indianapolis, IN. The site is designed with nine double stacker cranes, an automated case picking area and an automated drop yard providing efficient on-time loading and fulfillment.
Lebanon, IN (Phase II)
100,000 frozen
Opened fall of 2024, the Phase II Lebanon Expansion increased the site’s capacity by another 100,000 pallets. Like the Phase I counterpart, it is a multi-customer facility and supports the same automated benefits.
McDonough, GA
85,000 ambient
NewCold’s first North American ambient temperature facility was built 30 mi southeast of Atlanta housing 85,000 pallet positions. The 24-hour facility showcases seven double stacker cranes, automated case picking, rail dock, and a fully integrated drop yard. The site is strategically located near the major port access.
McDonough, GA (Phase II)
100,000 frozen
The first McDonough site expansion (Phase II) features a frozen facility housing over 100,000 pallet positions. First pallet in is slated for summer 2026.
Coaldale, AB
56,000 frozen
The Coaldale facility is a highly automated cold storage site. The 150-foot-tall AS/RS high-bay features six single-deep cranes and offers 56,000 frozen pallet positions in Phase 1, with Phase 2 expansion potential. Strategically located on the CPKC mainline, the facility supports the supply chains of Alberta-based food producers and is equipped to handle import/export logistics. It also includes ATL/ATU functionality, a spacious drop yard for trailers and operates 24/7 to ensure uninterrupted service.
Hagerstown, MD
100,000 frozen
One of the newer NewCold North American developments, this site in Hagerstown, Maryland is a strong example of our explosive growth in the NA region. The multi-customer site is designed with automatic case picking. The Hagerstown site is strategically located near major northeast and east coastal centers of gravity. Target FPI is slated for early 2027.
