NewCold inaugurates one of the world’s most advanced automated warehouses in Nowy Modlin, Poland

Nowy Modlin, Poland – NewCold, a global leader in advanced food logistics, proudly announces the official opening of its newest fully automated, energy-efficient cold storage facility in Nowy Modlin, Poland. With a current capacity of over 95,000 pallet positions, the launch of this cutting-edge site marks a major milestone in NewCold’s continued expansion across Central and Eastern Europe.

The new facility brings NewCold’s total capacity in Poland to 207,200 pallet positions, further solidifying the country’s role as a vital logistics hub in the European food supply chain.

“Combined with our existing site in Kutno, this facility enhances our ability to meet growing customer demand in Poland and beyond.”

To realize this ambitious project, NewCold partnered with leading construction firm Atlas Ward Polska and global design and engineering consultancy Arcadis, creating one of the most advanced automated warehousing facilities in the world. The 27,000 m² warehouse utilizes proprietary NewCold software, which integrates seamlessly with customers’ enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to ensure full visibility, traceability, and scalability of operations.

The €112 million investment will generate up to 140 jobs, contributing to long-term economic growth in the region.
