Commitment to grid independence
We are implementing technologies to achieve grid independence for our sites. Grid independence enhances the continuity of our operations while moving us closer to achieving our carbon-neutral goals. By reducing our reliance on external energy sources, we not only ensure operational stability but also take critical steps towards minimizing our carbon footprint.

Water monitoring for sustainable operations
While our water usage is not as high as manufacturing sites, we recognize that efficient water management is essential for sustainable operations. We have introduced water monitoring systems at each of our sites to track water usage and identify conservation opportunities to reduce unnecessary consumption. For warehouse operations, even modest improvements in water efficiency can lead to significant environmental benefits.
Regional carbon neutrality plans
Each location has tailored carbon-neutral plans focusing on regional energy resources and power generation capabilities. Our primary strategies focus on renewable energy solutions such as solar power and CHP systems, supplemented with wind energy and battery storage where feasible. These solutions allow us to maximize efficiency and further reduce our environmental impact.
Transport decarbonization plan
We will soon finalize our comprehensive transport decarbonization plan, focusing on reducing emissions across our global fleet. This includes leveraging carbon-reducing technologies and fuels like Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO) in different regions. As we continue to develop our plan, we will identify and implement the most effective solutions for each region, ensuring a responsible and forward-thinking approach to fleet management.
